The Challenge
The Challenge
During the COVID-19 pandemic, homes became multifunctional spaces where people had to work, relax, and socialize within the same environment. However, most living room furniture was not designed to support temporary work scenarios.
The goal was to design a modular coffee table system that supports short working sessions while maintaining the comfort and aesthetics of a living room.
The design needed to provide:
ergonomic support for laptop use
flexible modular configurations
efficient use of space
a minimal and contemporary design language

The design process explored how living room furniture could support both relaxation and productivity without introducing traditional office furniture.
Through sketches, ergonomic considerations, and 3D modeling, a modular system was developed that integrates multiple functions within a single furniture concept.

a central storage unit
an adjustable working surface
a cube pouf module for additional seating
modular table elements that can be repositioned
